There is a huge market for installing and maintaining commercial gas appliances. There are a huge range of appliances installed in hotels, shops, restaurants, cafes, and takeaways around the United Kingdom.
Commercial Gas Course – Once you have gained your Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1) you can add this course and expand your business to carry out work on commercial pipework and appliances. Includes all of the folowing: CCN1 Changeover; Commercial Warm Air Heater; Commercial Pipework; Plaque Heaters & Radiant Tubes; Testing & Purging; Boilers over 70Kw - Only at our Croydon Training Centre.
Commercial Gas Catering Course – Again once you have secured your CCN1 you can extend your opportunities to encompass Commercial Catering Appliances, Boiling Burners, open/solid top ranges and deep fat /pressure fryers (but not including Fish & Chip shop fryers) - Only at our Croydon Training Centre.
Liquid Petroleum Gas
Choosing this course will extend your current ACS qualifications to cover Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) and will enhance your income opportunities still further. You would be able to accept work in permanent residential properties, leisure accommodation vehicles (ie: caravans), residential park homes and boats. Please note that your LPG accreditations are only valid whilst you remain on the Gas Safe Register.
Unvented Hot Water Systems & Water Regulations
You will need to obtain these qualifications if you wish to work on modern cental heating systems.

How do I pay for the course?
The full fee is payable on enrolment and can be paid using CreditCard/Debit Card or by Bank Transfer. Please note: There is a £20 processing fee if a Credit Card is used. There are no fees for using Debit Cards or Bank Transfers.
Where are your Training Centres?
We have 4 centres delivering our range of full Gas Engineer courses and gas course options. Commercial & Comercial Catering courses are only available at our Croydon Training Centre.
Portchester, Hampshire area (PO6 4PY) with easy motorway access from the M27.
Melksham, Wiltshire, (SN12 8EB) served by rail (Melksham) and road connections (A350, A365), bus services and easy access from the M4 (Jct 17).
Croydon, Surrey (CRO 3AQ) served by excellent rail connections and easy access from the M25 which itself has direct connection to the M3 and A3.
Wembley, London, (HA9 0HB) served by excellent rail & underground connections and easy access from the M25. Close to Wembley Stadium.
It is a wise choice to stay in local accommodation when attending practical weeks if you live more than 20 miles away from a Centre. The days in Centre typically start at 8.30am and end at 5.30pm although some centres may start earlier to avoid rush hour traffic.
Staying away involves only 4 nights per week if arriving directly from home on Monday morning and prices for local accommodation start from as little as £25 per night.
Whenever possible, details of local accommodation options are sent to students when their booking for attendance at a training session is confirmed.
When can I start?
Whenever you like, the courses are running all the time. Once you have enrolled you will get your student reference number. You can then phone the booking line and book the Centre where you want to train. All you have to do is speak with one of our Careers Advisors, call us on 0845 0945460.
